No posts! Where has this month gone?! I know what it is, P hasn't made any more cheesy jokes ;-) and I haven't found any new delicious recipes to type about :-)

Went to see Mum ystdy for Mothers Day - it was lovely to see her, she was in good spirits & regaled us with tales of what I was like as a kid, including the time when she phoned her mum and dad (Granny and Grandpa) to ask how I was, as I was being babysat at the time.

"How's Emma?"

"She's fine, she's with Grandpa."

"Oh, what are they doing?" (thinking, oh, they'll be on the allotment doing the veggies)

"They're on the roof."

"What?"

"They're on the roof, Emma is helping Grandpa with the tiling - she's fine."

I was FOUR.

Heh heh - good old Grandpa, fearless as anything - dressing me in my dungarees - do you think there was an inkling back then!?!
