All the symptoms that were outlined in my post "Rundown" were all to do with one thing:
the initial acquisition of my first (and second, three days later) cold sore.
Nice.
Here's hoping I never have one again. The medical advice online says it can sometimes only be a one-off, fingers x-ed that applies to me!
